Christi lost her aunt, Arlene, to cancer in 2001. Arlene was passionate about helping families who had fallen on hard times; particularly around Christmas. Christmas Connection was her favorite organization to help ensure that Christmas was a joyous time for all. In Loving memory of her Aunt Arlene, Christi began helping families every Holiday Season by sponsoring families who were having a difficult time. Every year, Christi manages to find wonderful people who need a helping hand and with the help of her friends and family has created a loving and giving group of Angels who make sure that this time of year is not stressful for anyone. Shannon's favorite Christmas gift was the year her father, Rick and her step mother adopted a family of 9 being raised by their single mother/aunt. Shannon lost her father in the fall of 2018 and in 2019 approached Christi in memory of her father in order to help deliver Christmas to anyone who finds themselves in need. We are honored by those who are helping us by providing for families who are allowing us to help them provide a happy and joyful holiday. You are not alone. We are your village. You all are helping us keep our Angels memory alive and we are eternally grateful.
